Curriculum
Our classes have been created for specific age groups. Other than our special family classes, children are separate from adults. This allows everyone to maximize their potential and to have fun along the way!

Little Dragons (ages 4-7)
The Little Dragons program is designed specifically for young children. This class concentrates on basic karate skills, physical fitness, memory, spatial awareness, coordination, gross motor skills, balance, and learning left from right. The children also learn about stranger dangers and self defense.  The students acquire these skills and knowledge through fast moving drills and learning games. The Little Dragons also work on various Kenpo techniques by learning Kenpo katas (a pattern of movements). Most importantly, the children learn about what it means to "act like a Black Belt." Character lessons are taught throughout the class and interesting stories drive the message home at the end of each class. It is a fun and high-energy class. Your Little Dragon will love it!

Karate Kids (ages 8-15)
Karate Kids is an exciting class where students work on their physical fitness, coordination, balance, spatial awareness, and memory through fast-paced drills and exercises. The Karate Kids learn Kenpo katas (patterns of movement) which help them master basic karate skills. These students also learn valuable lessons on stranger awareness/avoidance, dealing with bullying, and self defense. The most important goal of the Karate Kids class is to teach the children the "Black Belt" way of life. This involves showing respect, humility, perserverance, self-control, integrity, and discipline in all areas of life. These characteristics are explained and demonstrated throughout the lessons, and an interesting story at the end of class reiterates that message. The Karate Kids class inspires children to be their very best!

Black Belt Club
The Black Belt Club curriculum challenges students at an intermediate and advanced level. This class concentrates on truly living like a "Black Belt," perfecting Kenpo techniques, learning how to spar effectively, and integrating gymnastics with their martial arts training. These students also train with weapons such as the Bo staff, Chinese Broadsword, Escrima sticks, Kamas, and the art of Nunchaku. Black Belt Club students are highly motivated through fun, intense drills which promote physical fitness, martial arts excellence, and confidence.

Masters Club
Masters Club is a dynamic course which challenges students to earn their 2nd degree Black Belt. Only Black Belt candidates are invited to join this exciting class. The students train in various styles of martial arts to ensure that they are well-rounded martial artists. The curriculum includes such topics as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Black Belt level Shaolin Kenpo, American Kenpo, and Tae Kwon Do.

EM3:Elite Modern Mixed Martial Arts (adults and teens 16 +)
Our EM3 program is an evolved system of martial arts proven to be a highly effective form of street fighting and defense for a modern world. No one martial art is totally effective for all areas of combat, therefore, EM3 is a hybrid of fighting skills using the best techniques from several styles. EM3 uses boxing and kicking skills from Muay Thai Kickboxing, grappling and submissions from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, hand to hand techniques from Small Circle Ju Jitsu and the Israeli military, stick/knife defense and fighting from Modern Arnis, and pressure point fighting from the Kyoshu Jitsu. All of these disciplines together make a well rounded system that gives you the confidence that you can end most violent assaults quickly and safely. Intense drills during class help you learn to deal with the shock and adrenaline stress involved in an assault and bring out the aggressiveness necessary to resolve the conflict no matter what you are up against. Fighting skills, reflexes, timing, and distancing are also honed through sparring training. EM3 is a great cardiovascular workout unlike any other. Exciting exercises and drills will not only tone and shape you, but it will also increase your energy level overall. All kinds of people enjoy and benefit from this class. From the Black Belt to the beginner, everyone learns at their own level.

Adult Kenpo Karate
Our Adult Kenpo Program is a mixture of Kenpo Karate, kickboxing, hand to hand self defense, and fitness. The Kenpo class is for ages 13 and up. It is designed for men, women, beginners, and experienced students. Kenpo is mostly known as a mixed style that combines a heritage in Chinese martial arts, specially Shaolin, with  karate (sometimes called "Kenpo Karate"), often mixed with elements of other Japanese arts like Jujitsu.  In the early 1960's Grand Master Ed Parker popularized Kenpo as "American Kenpo." It was designed to help adults defend themselves with a more relevant method of training. Kenpo is widely known for its  hand-to-hand effectiveness. The kata have a reputation for fluid upper body movement and transitions.
